6th August 2015, 10:00am – 2:00pm
We all know that bees are declining and are vital for pollination. Other insects are good at clearing plant pests in our gardens.
We can show you how to build a simple bee and bug hotel out of things that would normally go in the re-cycling.
The workshop is ran in the lovely walled gardens of the Preston Hall Museum.
There will be a supply of items provided to make your own bee and bug hotel to take home.
If you want you can even bring along your own materials and we will show you how to put a bug hotel together. Plastic bottles, tin cans, take-away coffee cups, garden bamboo, thick straws or any other tubing is handy.
